Hi, I'm Kristy...

I’m a licensed therapist, mom, and teen specialist with more than a decade spent supporting teens and their families through some of the toughest emotional terrain.

My work has taken me into homes during family reunification, into residential programs with high-acuity teens, and into fully adherent DBT practice treating everything from self-harm to eating disorders to intense emotional dysregulation.

Those years shaped the heart of what I do now. I blend DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and experiential work into warm, honest, conversational sessions that give parents the same tools I’ve spent years using with teens. I understand the teen experience deeply — and that insight helps me guide parents with clarity, steadiness, and compassion.

And as a mom myself, I know what it means to want a calmer home, a stronger connection, and a path that actually feels doable in real life.
